The dark origins of the Valentine Day
May be found in History's Relay.
Did love not exist
Before the world knew
A certain day in the year's list?
Or does love if real, need a show?
The red hearts, the hearty balloons
Surely make businesses grow…
But does love grow
Through objects and with money's flaunt?
Thought love was silent- sans all want…
Perhaps a sceptic in the eyes of the lovers
I believe in love's silent powers.
