When I read this, the last word, 'wave' seems to rhyme, but with what? quite a lyrical conclusion. Likewise on the metaphor of water, very imaginative; unclear, dragging, resisting, suffocating... but nonetheless changeable. nice writing :)

This is a really interesting poem, I love the way you've used the extended metaphor of the water, and how you have related it to concepts of drowning and of change. Very enjoyable to read.
