A chilling story but so accurately portrayed! Cheating men never leave their wives. If you like I just wrote a simliar one that you might enjoy called the double life. It is sad but the cheater also has a problem. Wonderfully written, my friend and I will be reading some more of your work soon as I am able. :)

Dark poem. I really enjoyed it very much. Also, how true is what you said. I've seen it time and time again.

I used to watch Forensic Files programmes, and this is an all-too-common scenario. Dead mistress found stuffed into a barrel. Dead mistress found in a river. Dead mistress found in the woods. Warning: Don't be a mistress. Or if you do, don't threaten to tell his wife if he doesn't increase the child support, or if he doesn't divorce her to marry you. that's a bad move to make.

You possess a mind that leans towards the macabre, Mr. Remler. (That is, when you're not busy composing brilliant children's poetry, which I love!) : -)
