Upon The Seven Seas

Upon The Seven Seas
--FreeBird 02

Black and white
With a few shades of grey
Seems to be
The understanding
Between you and me,
Even though
I mean all I say.

Life does travel up and down
Often leaving a dazzled clown
A juggling to and fro
A shining on which way to go
Other times in jet black
Leaving you with the fear of attack.

Now here we are…
With me a knocking upon your door
Offering you things like never before
Friendship on a new keel
Offering chances to squeal
With no hidden deal.

Now you wander
As I do too
Which way you will choose
In the wonders we might cruise
Together on the high seas
Or alone
I opposing ports
With nothing together
Forevermore!
