A few months ago, I gave him my heart, my soul, and my spirit,
I heard no voice, I saw no light, yet still I believed him.
His word said, 'Abide in me, ' but how can that atone?
Yet something inside me just felt it was right, unknown.
I didn't know where he was taking me, to an unknown place,
But I had no fear, trusted in his divine grace.
I humbled myself before him, believed I'd be blessed,
With each step taken, I trusted him, I felt truly impressed.

Since that day, a growing confidence within me blooms,
I feel as if I can reach for the stars, escape all the gloom,
No longer do I panic during times of crisis or strife,
For even in the midst of enemies, I fear no evil in life.
His presence surrounds me, his comfort is always near,
I stand perfect before him, free from all worry and fear.

Today, I may not be at the top, but I'm on my way,
Because he holds my hand, guiding me day by day.
All I need to do is have faith, trust in his divine plan,
With him by my side, I know I'll rise and truly understand.
Though life may have its challenges, I won't be detoured,
For he's taking me higher, to a place where I'll be restored.
Sooner or later, I'll reach the top, as he lifts me up high,
And all I have to do is trust him, have faith in him who lives above the sky.
