Poignantly sad situation for the child, living in poverty, thinking he is not loved or cherished by anyone. What loneliness a poor child must feel, the emptiness not only of his belly, but his heart as well! I grew up in poverty, but my parents loved us and did the best they could for us all. I do not understand how a child can go unloved in this modern world, what kind of selfishness it must be to deprive a little child of the necessities of life even! Thank you for bringing the plight of the poor children to the forefront, Leonard! Now it is up to others to do something about it! RoseAnn
