Untouchable…, yes that's what I thought I am.
I close all the doors, drop all the curtains
Covered every inch of gap on the way to my heart.
I decided last time was the last time

An ecstasy and a fear was there, I was tickled and thrilled at a same time. Looked at him and thought He looks like my next mistake. I was hiding my body and he took my soul. Can you make me drown even more...........love, dreams, romance, intensity. passion....... fine poem. tony

Original, deep and heartbreaking as you feel untouchable after been hurt once before but with mesmerising lines and they are actually brilliant lines you fall in love again to be left hurt once more. This poem is going on my favourite poem list and thank you for inviting me to read this superb write!

(cont.) bri :) p.s. on second thought, leave the poem as i read it (or not; it is up to you, OF COURSE) . it will sound more exotic, like a foreigner wrote it. well, that word, foreigner, depends on who is talking about whom! p.p.s. i have/had ways to get through gaps! !

“ …Cover every inch of gap …”.. “Covered” favorite line so far: A whisper underneath my ear hit on a strong door of my defense. [[ your PH photo makes me think of seeing a very young and shapely Bollywood movie starlet sitting as a guest on a TV 'talk show'. ]] (cont.)

Wow dear poet, what a lovely and sensational poem. Would love to quote these lines of yours dear Ruchi.. A whisper underneath my ear hit on a strong door of my defense. I was untouchable behind the doors but still felt touched by him. Not my body but he touched my soul like no one else. An ecstasy and a fear was there, I was tickled and thrilled at a same time. 10+++ for the sharing. Subhas
