Sadness rides over the glow of ingenuity Do you ever measure the distance of love? ...just liked your writing...10 for these lines only
intense passionate and atonce resigned to the fateful deception of love unfulfilled.......10
A somewhat dry and yet a profound reflection. Liked it a lot.
the first line really got me into the poem. i really liked it. not bad, not bad at all
A melancholic poem with great depths of expressions. Congrats, Dr. Kar
A fanastic poem How do you mesure a distance of love? 10+ kept it Dr
A beautifully written poem Dr, how indeed can you measure the distance of love? A 10 for this Lynda xx
Sadness rides over the glow of ingenuity Do you ever measure the distance of love? u can't. it is immesurable... what nice idea. beautiful write and eye catching imagination and truth also.....10 love o, mother, papa do u know and papa u too. all love filled poems
This is a well written poem, Dr. Kar, especially for one that does not seem to have much emotion in it's lines. It seems more a scholarly dissertation on the subject rather than a poem of passion that I was expecting. Still, not to take away from this fine write, your poem was quite well expressed just the same. Carl.
I can see here deep cognitive metaphors like: ''Sorrow redounds deep in darkness in furrows Humor blurs in dearth of rippling smiles Sadness rides over the glow of ingenuity'' By using abstract notions, well hidden in metaphors, the poem achieves its style and refinement and suggests that love can defeats the natural barriers by ascesis....10++++
Do you ever measure the distance of love? insightful query, another one would be How could you measure the distance of love? but as John Donne's famous poem 'A Valediction: Forbidden Mourning' there's no separation or distance in a true love, but an expansion of it! a very positive way to look at it, isn't it? great piece of work! !
Before grip of sorrow Makes a deep furrow Deep in the heart Tearing it apart Armor there is none. No safe place to run Wise it is to face In so many ways Before grip of sorrow Makes a deep furrow Deep in the heart Tearing it apart Everyone is susceptible To become cripple Caught in the claws Of life with loss
You ask a profound question at the conclusion of this elegiac piece. Love is as immeasurable as sorrow, I believe. Excellent write., as always. Warm regards, Sandra
