Rating: 5.0

No one has solved my Mystery Creatures,
And I really thought that someone would.
I guess it's one of my harder features
And all of my clues were misunderstood.

And also my latest mystery man
Is likewise as yet unidentified.
Is there anywhere out there one who can?
Perhaps I must go search the countryside.

All of the clues are there; it's not that hard.
I thought they surely would be solved by now.
It's not yet time to play my final card,
When I shall hang a sign upon a bough.

Perhaps my readers just are not alert;
I guess I'll have to call on Kelly Kurt.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
written 16 October 2016 in Ephraim, Utah

posted 16 October 2016 from Grand Junction, Colorado

As of today, nobody has yet solved my Mystery Creatures poem, which is the poem for the October 2016 Contest. First solver wins a spot in my poem Poetry Heaven or gets a poem all of his/her own (my choice) .

Also, my recent poem, Mystery Person 3, has not yet been solved. There is no prize for solving that one, just the glory.

The picture was taken today at Sand Wash View Area in the San Rafael Swell on Intestate 70 in Utah on our way to Grand Junction, Colorado.

Not sure I saw that one. Poemhunter used to notify me when you posted a poem because I have you on a certain list. It no longer does. I think Kelly Kurt is staying away until they fix the site. Not sure these comments are getting there either. I used to see them right after posting, but not anymore. Sad situation.
