Unshaken | Unforsaken Poem by Princess YaaIsraelah

Rating: 5.0

I am NOT forsaken
By my father's hands
How do you know?
Well, doesn'tit show?

I am still breathing
For I am still here
To live a life
Devoid of fear

I succeed in all I do
With my prayers answered
My passion is fuelled

I walk, I stride
With confidence
My wish is granted
All doubt is rid'

I wine, I dine
Give cheek, I smile
I live in style
With memories on file

And I remember
For my mind works well
And my ambitions
Never slumber
But glisten like pearls

For all I've been through
And endured
I am not forgotten
So I stand tall

Mercy and grace
Has been my lot
Wisdom and favour
My drinking cup

So what is to complain for?
Nothing at all
So I submit my mind
My heart and my soul

My hair grows longer
My life stronger
For the breath I breathe
Is all of source within me

He sees me live
Ensuring I grow
A living testimony
A miracle for you to know
