Unrequited Love Comments

Rating: 5.0

A furtive glance thrown, caught by yearning eyes
Swiftly found its way to a lovelorn heart
Hope began to flatter a love denied
Stifled passion opened to fleeting lust

adjective: unrequited (of a feeling, especially love) not returned or rewarded." Bro, Is it " love" , OR " unrequited love" , of which you know " little" ? If you are unjustly accused of such, I'll get you an acquittal. It may cost you " an arm and a leg" , but still you will be free, free to fool the judge, the whole jury, and even perhaps ME! Any poem containing " " TWICE gets my vote! ! bri :)

Your pen gives credit to the regret and warnings of the one night stand' situation. I guess because many of us experience the emotions and feelings from much multi media such as the silver screen and/or real personal situations from, work, family, or friends, that we are able to write so well and with good knowledge of a subject or situation. Therefore we do not necessarily have to be the person we write about. Well done Loke I enjoyed your poem...10

Thank you my friend but I will probably not touch this subject again! I'll leave it to the experts.

You and I are in the same boat, my friend, but you have written eloquently on the matter. I will probably never understand the hows and whys of human relationships, but this poem was an impactful insight

Really enjoyed.... I assume that you are a person who show fidelity in marriage.... So the experience related here is an unknown territory for you... Still you have done full justice to this illicit love...! The flame may be doused, but the guilt remains! Great write Loke!
