The first time did you hear the sound
Of the petals open one by one!
A lovely firm lotus on an alien pond,
Wholly unfamiliar and unknown,
Did the raindrops try to come near
To play with the bountiful petals!
Was it only repelled and pushed over
To roll away into the swirling ripples!
Why not befriend the tiny globules!
All these vanity and impudence
For being the ruler of water plants!
Or is it the daft misapprehension
Of the celestial beads?
Oh! Even the voguish cerebration
Could at times go amiss,
Whatsoever, your surface tension
Did push away the frail rain,
The wings of the butterfly that is broken
Can it be secured for a squillion!
The unuttered declined request
Could rile and scourge the wistful subject,
The solid iron core turned out to be a glass cloak,
The metallic heart, like amorphous glass it broke,
To the vernal teary water droplets
You will always remain an unrequited lotus.

Just loved it.... Heartbreak can never be so so beautiful. Loved the way you expressed it.
