I am so pleased that you read this..I have not read it in an age and it was interesting to re read. Thank you for your overview and yes I do feel that forgiveness is optional and relies on the truth of contrition..although we don't always get that unfortunately and that then leaves us in a place akin to Limbo..ah now there's another subject to write about..but maybe not today.
