Unpainted Walls Poem by Jennifer Birchall

Unpainted Walls

Rating: 4.7

As I look still
At unpainted walls
Am I depriving myself
To calmness
When all I see is chaos
Is it likened to my mind
Or what I think I deserve

We need to fill our homes with the simple things that bring joy. Happy pictures and vases, throw rugs and even plants. Painting a wall can lift moods but it can also raise the bills. Thank you Jennifer. May your sun shine.

Loved your introspections on seeing an unpainted wall.
