Nicely put. You have a gentle, caring touch which some of us can use. However, there are others of us who need much more. I recently read this poem by Rebecca Thompson which I truly like. So powerful.
Prayer To The World
Lift, O mighty sun
Bring your light to me.
Lift, O cresting waves --
Waken me with thunder on the shore.
Lift, Wind,
the branches of the majestic oak,
Spread the glistening leaves.
Bring motion to me.
Be fierce, O World,
Filling the air with broken roses
Letting delicate pieces of red
Flutter to hard earth
Bringing softness to me.
Lift, O World,
Me,
So that I may come to you
Fresh,
Cleansed by ferocity.
