you gave it away in your comment v.s.! but while reading the poem i finally got what you were talking about....at least by the time i got to the word compound. otherwise i would perhaps be falling asleep tonight trying to figure out the meaning of the poem. actually i would have just said to myself there must be a cultural/language? barrier keeping me from figuring out what this woman is talking about! ! ! ! thanks for sharing and pointing out the importance of water. it reminds me i have a long poem written a couple of years ago about water conservation....not typed or submitted yet. i'll try to remember to take care of that. thanks for sharing. bri p.s. check your spelling of 'window sills?
