Universe Rhythm Poem by Soran M. H

Universe Rhythm

you followed the crashing waves.
became
bigger and bigger.
travelled
further and farther
until you lost the way back.

Now your name is the ocean.

why return?
to the embrace of rough nights?
or to the shores of contemptuous days
stained by moments
of sorrow and grief.

Till you went far
unable to return.
failing to face maturity with love.
the age knows no language,
but cruelty
It accepts no bargain
nor other compromises.

now, from the life's heights horizon,
watching the meaningless battles below.
You pity people who
don't dream of living in peace.
how weak heroes are they?
their dream lives longer than them.
go and contemplate the regrets of the graves.
you'll find nothing but a stray bullet with a broken nose.
on the walls of the wasteland.
and a bewildered, thirsty crow
searching for more bodies.

Where are those ambushed by the storm?
their screams still echo.
reverberate in the wind.
who understands:
the glitter of the stars in the sky
and the brokenness of a heart on earth?
a scream in the darkness
and the bright chirp of lightning?

a cosmic obsession:
a cliché of truth.
a tear of the oppressed,
or a flood of intermittent showers?
