Ungrateful That We Are
Ungrateful that we are
Friday,7th February 2020
not a word
professed by lord
we know
and blow by spirit
when nature is spell bound
we have yet not found
spirited appeal
to make real deal
does the sun not rise?
does the moon not surprise?
the love and peace clearly noticed
but have we evinced interest?
birds have daily schedule
but we fail as individuals
play dual role
and curse the human role
how long can we call ourselves ignorant?
are we making distance from nature?
the answer lies within us
just have the trust
