I was waiting on this wayside for long
For a glimpse of you as you pass by in your chariot
Your carriage, at last, appeared at a distance
Amidst clouds of dust and fumes of fog
With tearful delight I rushed to thee
Against the thick surging mob advancing in festive procession
I failed and fell down, my yells subdued in sounds of singing and chanting,
Deafening crackers drums, foot steps and rattling wheels
Oh! Omnipresent, you remain invisible to all
My passion for seeing you is brimming up
I wish the warmth of your breath over my forehead
A desire for your Darshan fills my heart
Remove from these blind eyes darkness
And fill in thy celestial light to see your sparkle
A magnificent poem with compelling images and captivating poetic expressions. Top Marks!
Your great faith is unmatched! A well expressed and powerful prayer.Every stanza in this poem stands out expressing the desire to see the Omnipresent.
Thank you for the comments. I consider it a great thing to be blessed with the faculty of realisation so far it is the capability to know the position of self in the vast universe
The poet could not fulfill his desire to have a darshan of the omnipresent, and omnipotent deity who passed on a chariot pulled on by frenzied mob. But still he is longing for the blissful experience to fill his heart. Hope his dream will come true! ! Good poem.
Poet's ardent search for the 'celestial bliss'. Here we can see a 'Complete Man' resting everything at God. Great thinking!
Thank you Leela for commenting on my spiritual aspirations

Thank you Kumarmaniji. God's blessings is necessary even for feeling his omnipresence. We can see him through His sublime creations if we pray sincerely and devotedly to remove the darkness of Ignorance.
