A deeply poignant and touching poem. I concur with Dr. Geeta's comment; in God's own time, you will forgive and forget what she did and with ardent prayers, she will ultimately change.

This brings tears to my eyes. I wish I could hold you and hug you and tell you that everything will be OK. Your aunt may have unknown problems of her own, but it's always nice when relatives can be close and share each other's burdens.

A poem coming from the heart of the poet, against injustice meted out to her. This is a bold protest, at the same time, it is a reminder to herself that she should not succumb to such pressures. Good poem. Wish her best.

LeeAnn, I commend, and respect you, for having the courage to write this heart wrenching poem. It sounds like an environment that's counterproductive to your well being. Please find a way to resolve the situation. You have so much to offer!
