Unequal

At one point in time, it looked good
an almighty made all of to understand
I am sending you as equal
so enjoy your journey and play no dual role

if he had created us equal
why did it not augur well?
for mankind
instead made a try to find excuses

The mother earth belonged to us
with the confidence and trust
we vowed to defend at any cost
but humanity was lost

rich and poor
haves and have-nots
then human being was caught
between dilemma and fought it out

rich and poor nations
couldn't improve upon the relations
the result being, there remained bitterness
each one prying on others borders

despite being on in the name
everybody claimed
the inequality as the main weapon
and thus humanity cause never improved upon
