Underestimating Macbeth Comments

Dear Susan, though I have many words (and love to use them) , I have no words to describe the deep happiness that your gracious, encouraging words cause to well up in my soul as I read them. I hesitate to take such high praise into my heart, as if it may disappear forever, or I might find myself tomorrow ever so unworthy. I long to write words that touch hearts, move souls even as mine has been moved by powerful writing, to produce writing that one day may be considered worthy of publishing. And when I do, it will be largely due to the encouragement I have found in this little community of writers, none so eloquently expressed as that which comes from your heart and your pen. Thank you, thank you, thank you, always :) S

Oh, Annette, you hit that one on the head. I try to pound it into my children not to get too close to anyone until they really know who they are, and that is so difficult. You really have to watch how people treat other people over time to know what is inside them. You can't know someone until you marry them, go into business with them, or oppose them. Then their real nature becomes evident. Thank you, Annette. :) S
