Under The Watchful Eye Poem by Saul Palti

Under The Watchful Eye

Just wait a little while longer
for the stars to fall from sky
red robins are coming closer
to land on my outstretched finger

true love has no limitation
the world is filled with temptation
and endless rolls of cotton
which will bring endless realisation

oh how your heart combines with mine
this feeling of ours makes everything fine
as I write this text which become a line
all over the slaughtered swine

when true love comes a knocking
do not hesitate or pulsate
as I could hear your heart breaking
underneath the heavens barking

one second it takes to fall love
just a moment to fly away with the dove
through the sky above
and do not ever give a second try

all over in a moment
when the world comes crashing down
and these lies are truly bent
as all existence is heaven sent
