Lived only where love and peace abound When time of heartaches and sorrow nears Bowing of heads and shedding of tears Families together as if under one roof In a bond of love was their only proof Can it be expected during these days. So far i understand they do not have any interaction. they do know names of each other. Thanks for sharing this beautiful write.

A lovely painting of a true lovable neighbor. Such a close bonding and fellow feeling makes a good neighbor who is more than a relative even. A good neighbor who stays on the next door makes a person more confident and happy.... Beautiful

There was such a beautiful time when neighbours lived in love and harmony sharing the produce of their toil with others and staying together in weal and woe as the members of a family! But unfortunately those times are gone and life has grown much more mechanical! No one has time to enquire about the well being of others, not even the time to say a hello to the next door neighbour! Great write, Pat!

Bond of love so beautifully presented in the poem. I enjoyed every line in the poem. Life is full with neighbors around. Thank you.
