Imagine what it is
in the future age to come
Think the difference
of that stage to ours
the now and the forever
what will you choose
determines your destiny

Everything will be new
when that time comes
are you prepared
to be with God someday
all things will be changed
everywhere will be
just gloriously beautiful

Bad things will disappear--
diseases and darkness are gone
no more tears and sadness
nothing is left that brought
harm and sorrow to man
this is the promise of a new life
of new heaven on a new earth

God has finally arrived
to be with men forever
the eternal Emmanuel—
his promise of 'God is with us'
Oh what a wonderful day it would be
for those who believe in his Son
in the everlasting promises of God

What a perfect home the Lord
is preparing for those who love him
his loving friendliness is always there
happiness abounds everywhere
and peace through all eternity
the King is with his people forever
as the saints go marching in

Only the glory of God
is the light in paradise
only the lamp of God is the
sacrificial lamb, his son, Jesus
the Spirit and the bride Groom
says 'Be with me in paradise'
and everyone is invited to come

will you finally heed that call?
