Suddenly we met again that day,
On a railway carriage.
Our destinations were different,

@Sandra Feldman, Thanks for leaving such a remarkable comment on my poem. 'Love, Mystery, and Poetry intermingle in this rhythmical Masterpiece' is a high tribute I could have hardly imagined I deserved. Thanks from the core of my heart!

favorite lines so far: Half acknowledged and half lost, While I kept my fingers crossed. .......and nice rhyming. and: Would you see a dream wide awake? Where slowly appears a poet's visage, ........ a poet? initials: K.A.? ? a little spooky at the end. mysterious. a former love? a true experience you had? a made-up story? in any case, i enjoyed reading it twice, and shall send it to MyPoemList. bri :)

Thanks for picking up this poem to your 'MyPoemList'. Much inspired by the appreciative comment. It's indeed a 'made up story' as you guessed it right. :)

Often, I think of those lost opportunities, to engage in opening a door to a dialogue, that could have unlocked the mystery of the unknown. The what it's..... I love this scribe. A story, only you can properly tell. PEACEful parting.

Would you wander to a fairyland, While still holding the book in hand, Would you see a dream wide awake? Where slowly appears a poet's visage, One that you love or not, is a mystery, One that creeps into the lines of poetry. Nice imagination!

This is a very great and unusual poem. The scene is painted perfectly and with great artistry by the poet. We participate, like in a film and understand the feelings conveyed. Love, Mystery, and Poetry intermingle in this rhythmical Masterpiece.
