Will history repeats its reflections
when soldiers will keep marching
while bombs will keep exploding
causing bloodshed and destruction?
will the world keep watching the gunfire
where innocent people will keep dying
while children will keep waking up
holding fears and tears in their little eyes?
will citizens keep running to save their lives
when their neighborhoods turn into debris
while streets will keep getting isolated and empty
with no one ready to fight back the enemies?
will life fill the days with war and terror
where no one will know how to avoid the horror
when violence and deaths will aggravate
the gloom and sadness one has to face?
will families keep living in cold and hunger
when no one will know how to overcome their hardships
when their economy will make them feel restless
with no food and nutrition to feed their families?
will women and children want to stay back
when situation of war will compel them to flee as refugees;
will anyone want to give them shelter willingly
or will they have to sit and sleep in the bare winter?
will time ever be calm and peaceful again
when war will aggravate their sufferings
and many will not know how to accept
that war has its own results and consequences
which none can change or alter once defeated?
will the world never succeed to deter the war
when an invasion can cause so many adversities
where people will have to face abundant difficulties
which will keep soaring day by night, night by day
and the world will feel so displeased and irked
that it could not control the warring nations?
will time ever stop to rewrite the pages of history
when world is so erudite and so well-educated
yet just as the pen never stops its duty of writing
the voracity of men has never ceased over centuries
thus compelling warring nations to accept changes
in their democracy and geography time to time or forever.
