Imagine your own home falling apart piece by piece
imagine your own room catching fire in the dead of the night
imagine the ceiling of your apartment devastated
by cracks and clefts,
imagine your own railway station shattered by a rocket strike
imagine your own friend getting burnt alive in a train hit by a missile in the Chaplyne Town.
Imagine your own mind searching for peace
imagine your own heart searching for care
imagine your own eyes searching for serenity
imagine your own ears searching for silence
imagine your own limbs searching for rest.
Imagine a full six months of bombs and explosions
imagine a full six months of soldiers and gunshots
imagine a full six months of missiles and demolitions
imagine for a full six months of no rest and no peace
imagine a full six months of people facing injuries and deaths.
Imagine a country so full of uncertainty of tomorrow
imagine people so full of worries and anxieties
imagine the world so helpless and just watching the tragedies
imagine a distressing war so unbelievable yet so real
imagine Ukraine in unending hardships and sufferings
imagine a moon that silently keeps watching the anguish
and weeping out there.
