I am beginning to feel sorry for the Russian conscripts who lack equipment, clothing, or any support who are true cannon fodder and stand no chance. The weather will kill some of them. It was -5ºC here this morning & I only managed 45 minutes out in it. Cont'd

Re your 6, the US, China, Russia and India all have anti satellite satellites (ASAT's) that can manoeuvre close to military satellites and fry their electronics, some innocuous quasi military/commercial satellites. I wrote about the 8 years ago.
