Two Worlds Poem by Joe Fraccalvieri

Two Worlds

I exist between two worlds…
One is Death… And one is Life…
One is comfort…
The other-- strife

I stand with one foot upon the land--
the other within the sea

I hold the clouds in one hand
The other tears a branch from The Tree--
drawing a line in the sand,
marking my endless territory

Whether rooted in the ground
or nestled in a tree--
my spirit remains unbound
I'm never without anything
because everything resides in me

I am what you hear… I am all you see…
I am here and there-- in all that can be
From the height that you dare
to the depths of despair
From the effect of cause
to a world without laws

From the very near--
to infinity…
And it's all because
I
am me
