Two Weapons Poem by Sankhajit Bhattacharjee

Two Weapons

Rating: 5.0

When shells and bombs show their power, within a moment
everything is destroyed, everything is turned into grey ashes;
their powers seem to be huge.
In broader sense to create something is
much difficult than to destroy something-
a small creation is more powerful than a mass destruction.
Alas! Shells and bombs can never create,
but they do claim their ability to destroy all creations.
Two weapons- non-violence and non-cooperation
possess an enormous power to create
in midst of all destructions, in midst of grey ashes.
Shells and bombs are powerless as they can dig graveyards only,
while these two weapons can give life to the dying individuals.

What a brilliant thought. Very perceptive and great insight. A well crafted and thought out write. To my Poem List.
