Two voices
Hear our voices
Crying out to me
Someone help us, save us
How can I respond
Except to search for them?
We were lost
I want to help the lost
And we're tired, so tired
I want to tend to the weary
We've been calling out for so long
Their voices keep crying in my ears
Our bones are worn and our souls ache
I want to relieve them of their burden
We want something to help ease this pain
I understand their unacknowledged needs
Bring your broken, your weary, your restless spirits to me
If we come, what will you do to us?
I will show you the way
What way is that?
The way to healing
We are not sick, we are not dying
The way of healing for your souls
Our souls do not need healing
Everyone needs healing
You are trying to trick us
There is no deceit in my actions
You want to make fun of us
I have no such desire
You think we are gullible
I think you are lost
We do not need your help
I offer it because I think you do
You have nothing to offer us
I have much to offer you
We have heard those lines before
Not everyone knows how to help
You will abandon us
I will not abandon you
You will say we are not good enough
I cannot judge you without judging myself
You will call us sinners
I am a sinner too
You will say we are going to Hell
I want to save you from that fate
Will you help us?
I will help you
