Two Tankas On Acceptance Poem by Clyde King

Two Tankas On Acceptance

If you can't accept what is,
Then you learn to accept change
and accept that nothing ever
becomes a constant attachment.

Ask yourself if you can be happier
by clinging to the past or the future
and ignoring the present situation.
