Two Paths Converged Poem by Christopher Cariad

Two Paths Converged

Two paths converged
within this forest.
Two lives wondering
from path to path. This is the store of life, right?
We wonder around in a disillusioned state
not knowledgable about where we're going,
but just going.
Wrong, I like to think these paths
where created for a reason.
Created for you and me.
Growing this friendship.
Here we are, on this cliff.
Looking down at the water bellow,
watching how it smooths the rigged rocks
with a soft touch and patience.
We are those rocks, silently in the forest
being molded by the soft wet and of love.
Slowly on the path, slowly on the journey
to becoming our more perfect selves.
