Two Old Ladies Poem by Pushkar Bisht

Two Old Ladies

Rating: 5.0

Two old ladies,
One is sitting with a baby
The other is standing
Both are singing
A beautiful song
For a little baby

A baby,
Who has just opened her eyes
In this world,
Finds herself in a little moment of joy
Claps to see
What a happy moment it is!

Toys are no more
Rhythmic
To her,
But a short song sung by the old ladies,
That keeps her happy

The moment is ordinary,
But it is thousand times meaningful to the life,
And a poet thinks of it,
How lovely the moment it is

If the day ends,
But the night is just starting
With all twinkling stars
A world,
Where all the actual dreams of them
Roaming about

Happiness knocks at a closed door
And the closed door opens slowly
The happiness enters
& speaks its language beautiful

Life and dreams sail by the same boat....what dream does the new born babe dream in sleep and smile...we don't know...but while awake when the two old ladies sing isn't that a cause to make the baby feel happy to dream and smile...? ......interesting write10
