It will soon, again, be Christmas,
The jolliest time of the year
When the red cloth man, Santa,
With his sleigh and reindeer will appear.
For children, throughout the world,
He'll bring gifts to each girl and boy.
All others, he'll leave gifts, quite special,
Too, made by his handy elves in his employ.
It, also, will, again, be Christmas,
Celebrating, too, the Christ Child's birth
Who came to promise us Salvation
To all who worship Him while on earth.
Be Christmas, to one, secular or religious
May it still be a day of good cheer.
For not often does a day consume us
That makes life worth loving while living here.
