Two Irish Going Poem by Pushkar Bisht

Two Irish Going

Two Irish going,
Along with the road worn-out from their work,
Going back home for rest,
And I was on the way from my office

When I saw them,
I was curious to meet them

I crossed the road,
Little bit sad how would they respond me?
But with my full courage
I approached them straightaway
And I asked one of them,
Where are you from?

Glad to know that they were from Ireland,
And I told them about Oscar Wilde & W.B. Yeats

They were happy to know that
I like Irish people very much,

The farewell came soon
I took their blessing,
And I wished them best of luck for their life.
