The only response to Kandinsky that expresses my commitment to his art is LOVE _ I love his paintings and his integrity as an artist. In commenting on my poems you referred to the interior life in eloquent terms. Your confidence in the higher unity of life and being to be experienced within is inspiring to us all. I appreciate your appreciation of AFTER THE POET'S DEATH. Writing that poem was a delight, when i re-read it I feel delight. And the recent passing of MARK STRAND makes a eulogy so necessary.
