Twist! Poem by Lakshmi Karat

I thought to express it by words..
He always hated listening!
I thought of conveying by deeds.
Oops I presented it odd!
There is always a twist...
Always some mist..
That prevented me from that,
Still my hopes cherished,
My desires nourished, like..
A rainbow that smiled
After some summer rain,
He peeped into my heart.
Without any wavy thought.
Well what I had with me
To share was a different
Story to gaze, to chase!
I was trying to have him
Respond and notice those,
I thought he could, or only
He could console that part,
He may try returning a smile
To all the endangered..
Smiles unlocked, they were
About to clot..and lost.
