DOLDRUMS
Mind, empty of music
On a lonesome beach
Beside a soundless sea
LOST LOVE
Once I saw rainbows in the sky
Once I caught the melody in the wind
Now only the cloud laden sky and a jar in my ears
Both your twin triplets are enchanting with depth of meaning which is very captivating. With regards, Chandra Thiagarajan
Both your twin triplets are each enchanting with depth of meaning.Fabulous, Valsa.
Short simple and touching feel sad but enjoyed reading as the poetess enjoyed writing.
Once I saw rainbows in the sky Once I caught the melody in the wind Now only the cloud laden sky and a jar in my ears. ... once it was but it is not now....this is the lost love. Beautifully put. Five stars.
Being in the state of doldrum could be so relaxing only if we are not hit by the downward state described in the second triplet. A marvelous composition.

In doldrums mind feels emptiness of music. Rainbow of love disappears when there is lamentations in life. Beautifully inscribed. Thanks for sharing.
When our love is with us every thing appears beautiful and when our love is not with us the entire beauty is vanished. Not only thinking our entire behavior depends on our happiness and sadness. A lovely write.

Yes Valsa doldrums and lost love can go hand in hand. When you lose someone it does throw you into a slump. Hopefully will look up and see the rainbow once again! Enjoyed.
