We should think
of the twin crises of
social dislocation and
ecological destruction.
The social order
stands on its own
merits, independent
of the issues
of time and place.
It is an appropriate
order for the good
life, the life that
human beings ought
to lead as a condition
of their flourishing
and well-being.
The social order stands on its own...Merits are drawn of its own. This poem is very amazingly and brilliantly penned.
