Aaahhhh Lyn, this is a very sad poem indeed. Well written but oh so sad. Thank you for sharing and I am certain that one day you will regain what you did lose and more.

I think we all buy (into) shoes which don't fit properly - we can either throw them out or try and stretch them to make them fit better. Great metaphor, great poem Lyn.

Agreed with Shahzia, when i was reading this, i think about CInderella....who knows you are a creator of elastic glass shoes that can fit you ant time...we should not blame our feet because because of it we able to stand and walk in this life...life is never a same shoes for us to wear, we need a comfortable one that last longer even thought it not made of adorable desire...living moderate is always help you to find your perfect fit shoes...otherwise think about my idea, elastic cinderella's shoe hahahaha Joking_Soul

Lyn Paul, do you think that you have never been good at handling issues well? The poem is stark straight though with a central metaphor running in the lines, the first reading dawned as a modern version of Cinderella, and the 2nd reading reminded me of Beckett's lines: blaming on your shoes the faults of your feet...shoes are handled as a right symbols for problems...! ! !
