What a beautiful poem. Everyone at some time in their life has always pondered on the thoughts of doing something different other than what they did....we do the best we can and what we believe is right at that particular time, only to realize later that we should have went another direction. This poems conveys much emotion...just beautiful!

Yes, Linda, one must always bear in mind that humankind's concept of time is after all an illusion of sorts. One must also count his or her blessings and be appreciative of them. At the same time, who among us wouldn't wish to change some of our indiscretions and bad choices that we've made, but alas we can't. Acceptance of what has been, no matter what the resultant outcome, is a healthier approach any way ya divvy up the pecan pie. Cheers, Greg

thought provoking, magnified...the virtual dilemma...changing the mistakes leaves you unenlightened, but how desirable to make a few alterations. sad now that ticker symbols come to mind rather than relationships. great read, Ms.Treat. -Tailor

This is lovely Scarlett, I don't think I would want to go back, you would maybe lose all the things you have learnt over the years. Well written. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
