Ernestine, I adore this poem, it's so true about life and living in our scattered over-filled schedules. There are so many distractions around us, thanks to technology we can be can be online anywhere. (not always sure that is a good thing) . Anyway, I digress. I think things were much simpler not so long ago, families sat around the table every night to discuss the day, mothers were home when their children came home, etc. It's a sign of the times poem that wreaks with truth and brilliantly stated. Loved it!
