Turkey Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Turkey

Turkey

My friend is learned,
-generous and great,
-above those, is gentle,
-supremely well-behaved.

We are, too close, chat
-as skin with flesh.

I focus in detail
-let him walk in alley
-of technics he observed.

Is from East Europe
-and truly expert,
-in funny relations
-of Europe and further.

If speaks with passion
-I think of turkeys' neck,
-the male or what is called:
- "gobbler! "

In natural process, gobbler
-shows skin, featherless;
-its snood is long, is dreadful!

Thanks to him, I have had
-lot to read, lot to learn.

Wish we were brothers,
-in law, or by our birth
-married to two sisters.
