Congratulations, June Walker, for its having been selected as Poem of the Day'.
Finding an army in the garden of tulips is a fantastic idea. Great portrayal of a fascinating and colourful nature. Thanks for all the joy the poem brings to the reader.
My ex-landlord's ex-girlfriend was passionate about tulips. The spring after she died, the most beautiful tulips bloomed in his garden. The mystery lies in that tulips had never before bloomed in his garden. There is no mystery here. June, you have deservedly received Poem Of The Day. I love the analogy to the army. Congratulations on an excellent write. Keep on marching with your poetry!
Excellent imagery and comparison. Loved the poem. Congratulations on Poem of the day!
Beautiful flowers in your garden. Nature shows the most beauty of all. A little seriousness with the army limping home a reminder of life itself. Thank You
How nice to see a poem on a flower. Tulips are beautiful flowers. The poetess has captured the essence of the flower and encapsulated them into a pretty poem. I like the comparison and description of the sergeant majors standing in attention in a parade. Lovely poem June
Tulips are the most colorful of all spring flowers and they grow as a single stem and flower for each plant. You captured them so well, a unique perspective on one of the nature's wonders. Beautifully crafted well executed write. Congratulations! 10
