By when canyon trips are closed.........when or then? silly me. of course you want when! :) back to the poem, which i'm enjoying so far. hmmm? goldfinch? nest made partly with thistle 'down' perhaps? yes, i'd say the nest size would be a real clue. favorite line so far: Do you trill and thrill the hills? i 'love' the image of lady moon Fumbling with her starry gown! ! ! ! here we only get to watch mister moon pulling up on his suspenders. you, sir, are no more of a 'fool' than i might be. now, you talk of being 'one' with the bird. this reminds me of a poem you wrote about two people discussing God's existence (or non-existence) . if you ever think you have cracked the identity mystery, i'd like to know your decision. bri :) to MyPoemList

Why I ponder how you look When I too am within you One with you and never apart Myself am the bird you are? ......amusing expression. It is a beautiful poem so nicely depicted. Thanks for sharing.....10
