Try You Need To
To fly is your birthright.
If you don't try
for the first time,
you never learn.
True, you may fail
you may fall.
But try you need to.
Albeit,
you may never fall
if you don't try.
If nobody tried boldly
for the first time
man would still be
the same barbaric tribe
nude and dirty
fighting for existence
with other beasts,
In the wild.
So, try you need to!
Poet Menon, your inspirational, and motivational, poem has stired up some great memories. Learning to ride a bicycle. Learning to water ski. Learning to write poetry. Poetry like this is so greatly needed today! Thx for the memories.
I just didn't mention that. In everybody's life, there is a Summer of 42, Richard. Cycling, skiing, poetry… everything. Our first day in school. First day in Office… Yes, Richard. And a Big Thank You.
