They all say they're seeking the truth
The rich, the poor, the elderly, the youth
But when the feel that their goal is near
Look how fast they run blinded by fear!
Όλοι τους λένε πως γυρεύουν την αλήθεια
Πλούσιοι και φτωχοί, νέοι και μορμολύκεια
Μα άμα μυριστούν πως φτάνουν στο σκοπό τους
Γίνονται καπνός, τυφλοί απ' τον πανικό τους
Sometimes truth is compromised by the aims we set forth in life. A great and powerful poem well crafted.
If one can keep their priorities straight, it is easier to embrace the truth. An intriguing and thought provoking poem.
