Trusting Poem by Kalee Skriver

I wish for someone to see me dance.
Someone I can let into my darkest corners,
with whom I can take a chance.
I want to be able to trust their every word,
and know that they will make sure that I am heard.
But I won't look for them, no.
I must just keep on my path, and trust that they will soon show.
I believe in fate, but that doesnt mean I have to wait.
I will just try my best to pass the test of today.
Perhaps one day I will find someone willing to stay.
